OK I'll try again - any of the other two people who play Star Trek Attack Wing fancy a game? Not Klingons this time...

Re: Tables for Tuesday 26th May

Anyone for some Star Trek Attack Wing? I've got some Vulcan ships that could do with a test drive.

Re: Conan Game

Shows how often I'm on this site these days that I've only just seen this, but - I was planning on buying this game anyway, I've been looking forward to it. You've got one interested at least. (Conan's world is actually a lot like early Warhammer, which took more from Robert E. Howard than it ever d...

Rob or Tim (or anyone else, but let's face it, Rob or Tim): fancy some Attack Wing if there's a table free?

Anyone fancy some Attack Wing, assuming there's not too much 40K going on?

Not in the ones I printed out, but the guy had transcribed some of those too. I just formatted the forum posts from here: http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?t=479784 But you can get the full versions of the OP scenarios as pdfs from the Wizkids site: http://wizkidsgames.com/dominionwar/ I ...

It's them. You can only get that one in the starter set.

Re: Star Trek Attack Wing

Yep, I'm still up for a game and I have my own set now, so more dice! Rob - I can't think of any reason off the top of my head why you couldn't get by with the X-Wing templates and dice, as long as you knew the rules (which you can get for free as a pdf on the manufacturer's site). Even if the X-Win...

Star Trek Attack Wing

OK, this seems to have built at least a little bit of momentum at Pigmar, and I'm convinced enough to buy in. I just thought it would be handy if folks who play, or plan to play, this game mention what factions' ships they intend to get hold of - so I can make sure I get something different, for var...

Re: Nid Codex Photos and Discussion 8/1/14

So Jack, are you getting an army of these guys then? If so I've got 16ish old genestealers and a patriarch model which could make for a broodlord, plus some more recent weapons sprues for conversion bits - I'm never going to use any of it myself, I can bring it down next week if you want any of it.

Re: Paint stripping plastic models

Melty, really? I left some plastic weapons and marine bits soaking for an hour before I started, just to test it, and they came out fine. It only takes a couple of minutes for the paint to be scrubbable, too - I tested it out on a small patch of the underneath of that Forge World flyer, splashing so...

Paint stripping plastic models

There's info about this online, but I thought it might be useful for people to have an account closer to home all the same - especially considering how many folks have just bought Chris Lance's old armies. I've just bought his old Eldar stuff, on which some of the paint is fairly thick - there seem ...

Re: game of 40k on the 10th

We usually arrange games in the weekly table-booking thread in the "events, news and ideas" forum. Here's this week's: http://www.pigmar.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1520 Even if all the tables are already booked, that's where people generally seem to arrange games for the week. Jus...

Re: Group 3: Jamie, Tim, Adam, Ian

My game against Jamie was the last in the group so Group 3 is done. Unless I've goofed after going through this thread, our final table should look like this: W D L TDF TDA dif CF CA dif Pts Adam (undead) 1 2 0 4 3 +1 8 5 +3 5 Ian (skaven) 1 1 1 8 4 +4 4 10 -6 4 Tim (undead) 1 1 1 4 4 0 8 6 +2 4 Jam...

Re: Whirlwind Scorpius....erm....

Yeah, like I said I don't really have any major problem with the gun (Although, that blastmaster comparison is a little cheeky. For 125 points you get one blastmaster that has to be able to see targets. Or if you're Space Marines, you now get FOUR blastmasters that ignore line of sight and snipe mod...

Re: Whirlwind Scorpius....erm....

The gun's crazy powerful, but not to a broken level (it is a barrage, and I have serious issues with barrages in general, but that's not this thing's fault). No, it's the extra armour value FOR NO REASON that I find hilarious. Forge World should get Lance Armstrong to endorse them.
