Re: Age of Sigmar, now with points!

I very much get the feeling this'll be a steam-rolleresque add on, rather than a rejig. Which is good.
AoS has obviously never been intended as a serious competitive endeavour.

MK3 Announced

Echo echo echo... If anyone still looks in here, PP have just announced MK3 is coming in June. Still haven't shifted away from the god-awful pseudo plastic, but each faction will have a starter box including minis, dice, rules and a mat. Of interest, they've doubled the points scale for granularity,...

Re: Buying Mats for the Club

It could be worth getting them in at least pairs, so we can use two of them as three 4 by 4 tables if we need to. I'm also tempted to get one or two for home use depending on the final price we get. Sounds like a recipe for excessive wear and tear on the edges if you have a join in the middle of a ...

Committee folks!

Hi folks,
Just had an email from element games about an affiliate program. I know a lot of people use them, wondered if maybe worth looking into as an extra bit of income for the club?

I'd managed to block that out, cheers Craig. If I want flaming Dwarfs I want them flaming in both senses of the word.

Re: New Blood

It's not played regularly, most fantasy types are playing 9th age or Age of Sigmar, although I know a couple have played KoW in the past.

You could always buck the trend and be the guy that uses Mantic minis to play GW games, instead of vice versa... ;)

Re: ETC vote on system change

Frankly I'd be surprised if it did - because once you've gone with AoS as a tournament game, you're then having to pick 'vanilla' or 'competitive', and if you go competitive you then have to pick from the myriad of comp systems... I want to see the game do well, but I don't think it'll scratch the i...

Re: ETC vote on system change

Even Labour had a more stringent voting system than that! ;) (Although I'm chuckling that KoW is ranked lower than AoS.) Good luck to 'em. Although I think KoW might do surprisingly well to objective voting - it's one of only two on that list that will have ongoing support, and unlike AoS wouldn't r...

Re: New to area, Age of Sigmar

Myself & Joe will be popping down tomorrow to see if there's any free tables for a game of AoS - there's a few others at the club who are getting into AoS too.
