Could be a rough one for me first up: 2 light councils, avoidy wood elves and skink cloud + kroak...

Well, Pigmar Hogs, started on table 6, moved to table 5, then back to table 6 for the next two rounds before moving to table 4 due to teams having already played each other. We promptly ended up with a chess & draughts set each as Warhammer is too tough for us! If you hadn't guessed table 6 was the bottom table.

Basically, one of us won one game each round so we ended up with minimum points in all bar two rounds! We lost to Pigmar sows too...

Was a fun event, great food, good venue and nice to play some different people and armies.

I'll let one of the sows fill in their result.

Yeah, we (the sows) realised how the pairings worked by game 3 but to be honest for the first round it really didn't matter that much. We only got minimum points in the first 2 rounds so there's that.

Round 3 was a highlight with us giving the hoggs a good drubbing. 56-24 I think was the final score.

So 9th out of 12 overall was OK I guess. I personally had a really good game against Russ Veal that swung backwards and forwards and all of mine barring maybe the first were reasonable games really. As usual good venue and good value for what you get!

Finally, cheers to my team for turning up and giving it a bash, hopefully my captaincy wasn't too shocking! (Clearly not as bad as somebody else we know. :p)

It was a great fun weekend and despite losing every game and only scoring 13 tournament points (out of 100), I had five good fun games, and a decent evening in the pub with my fellow Pigmarites!

I would definitely recommend heading over to a BIG tournament if you get the chance. It was one of the best organised events i've been to, and had probably the best food of any event yet!

About as mid-table as can be
